KRAFT bringt Theater, Performance und internationale Verbündete in die Region, aus der das Duo stammt. Weiz wird zum Labor für globale Synergien.
KRA bringt die Welt nach Weiz und Weiz in die Welt. KRAFT 2027 bündelt internationale Expertise mit regionaler Tatkraft. Sechs Produktionen, ein Thema: ENERGIE. Wir fragen nach dem Potenzial zur Veränderung. In einer Stadt, die „voll Energie“ als Slogan trug, untersuchen wir die physischen und sozialen Kraftfelder unserer Zeit. Als experimentelles Format bietet KRAFT aufstrebenden Künstler*innen die Plattform, um Werke, Methoden und Perspektiven zu teilen. Neben den Aufführungen von zeitgenössischem Theater stehen Vernetzung und inhaltlicher Diskurs im Zentrum.
Hinter KRAFT steht das Kollektiv KRA. Nora Köhler und Vera Kopfauf arbeiten als interdisziplinäres Satireprojekt an der Lösung aller Konflikte der Welt. Ihre Arbeiten zwischen Performance, Dokufiktion und politischer Aktion dekonstruieren paternalistische Perspektiven und europäische Rettungsfantasien. In ihren Projekten übersetzt KRA globale Dringlichkeit in radikale regionale Praxis. Für die Realisierung von KRAFT arbeitet das Duo eng mit Susi Schlögl zusammen.
Susi kennt Weiz, Susi kennt die Welt und Susi kennt KRA seit dem Kindergarten. Sie ist Expertin für nachhaltige Kultur, Riso-Pionierin und langjährige Weggefährtin in Sachen Konfliktlösung. Wir bündeln unsere Kräfte für das Festival. Gemeinsam volle Kraft voraus!

KRA solves all the world's conflicts. Now, KRA is launching a festival. In Weiz: KRAFT. We bring together people, ideas, and perspectives to do what we do best: save the world. KRAFT brings theater, performance, and international allies back to the region where the duo originated. Weiz becomes a laboratory for global synergies.
KRA brings the world to Weiz and Weiz to the world. KRAFT 2027 bundles international expertise with regional momentum. Six productions, one theme: ENERGY. We interrogate the potential for change. In a city that carried "City of Energy" as its slogan, we examine the physical and social force fields of our time. As an experimental format, KRAFT offers emerging artists a platform to share works, methods, and perspectives. Beyond contemporary theater performances, the focus lies on networking and critical discourse.
Behind KRAFT is the collective KRA. Nora Köhler and Vera Kopfauf are working as an interdisciplinary satire project to solve all the world's conflicts. Their works - ranging from performance and docufiction to political action - deconstruct paternalistic perspectives and European rescue fantasies. In their projects, KRA translates global urgency into radical regional practice. For the realization of KRAFT, the duo collaborates closely with Susi Schlögl.
Susi knows Weiz, Susi knows the world, and Susi has known KRA since kindergarten. She is an expert in sustainable culture, a Risograph pioneer, and a long-time companion in conflict resolution. We are joining forces for the festival. Together: full power ahead!
