1:1 cowbirds is a sound-piece based on Corsican Polyphonic singing, performed live by five singers/performers and designed as an installation. A performance for ears where songs, calls and complains are sung by one, two or three voices. Rough sounds and harmonies that tell us about a “being together”, a relation from 1 to 1, from the individual to the collective.
1:1 cowbirds ist ein Klangstück basierend auf polyphonem korsischem Gesang, welcher von fünf Sängerinnen live in Form einer Installation dargestellt wird. Eine Performance für das Ohr, in der Songs, Schreie und Anklagen von einer, zwei oder drei Stimmen gesungen werden. Raue und harmonische Klänge erzählen in einer Relation von 1:1 etwas über das «Zusammensein» - vom Individuum bis zum Kollektiv.
